I spent a lot of time today thinking about what I wanted in a relationship, and well, I came to the conclusion that I know EXACTLY what I want in a relationship.  I’m sick of just dating anyone for the hell of it.  I want to date someone who means something to me.  Someone who I can be with for a while.  Someone I know I can come home to.  Someone I know isn’t going to beat me or cheat on me.  Someone who is going to be there for me, no matter what, even if things get rocky.

I want someone who is going to hold my hand, protect me, and love me.  I want someone who I can cherish and they can cherish me.  I want someone who is going to open their arms to me everytime I come home and say, “Welcome home baby, I’ve been waiting for you.”  I want someone who will cuddle me and cheer me up.  I want someone who I can one day have a kid with.  I want a life with someone. 

I want someone to be there all the time.  I want someone who will acknowledge my needs and help me achieve them.  I want someone who thinks about “we” instead of “me”.  I want someone who can be themselves all the time with no problems or worries.  I want someone who keeps no secrets.  I want someone who I can love and they can love me.

 Will I achieve my goal?  This is unknown.  Maybe I’ll find it one day.
