It's when you make a mistake and you don't try to learn from it that you should regret it. Any and every mistake can be learned from an it will help you grow as a person. You might not be able to step back right away from a situation and learn from it, but with some time you'll be able to analyze the situation in a way that will help you learn and grow from it.
